After six incredible years of service, we bid a heartfelt farewell to Josh Taylor, who is stepping down from our Board of Directors.

Since joining the board in 2019, Josh has been a steadfast leader, thoughtful advisor, and passionate advocate for our mission. Whether supporting organizational growth on both the Strategic Planning and Finance committees, contributing to key initiatives, or mentoring others, he has consistently brought wisdom, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to our work. Just as importantly, he always infused the room with positivity and energy, reminding us that leadership is not only about vision and strategy, but also about uplifting those around us.

Some of the many highlights of Josh’s tenure include:

Playing a key role in leading Beyond through two strategic planning cycles;
Contributed to Beyond’s milestone celebrations for its 5th and 10th anniversaries; and
Provided expert guidance to the organization during a leadership transition

Reflecting on his time at Beyond, Josh shared:

“Being on Beyond’s board has been a highlight of my personal and professional life. The work Beyond does is incredible, and it is incredibly important, especially now. With Bindhu at the helm, and with the amazing additions to the Board over the last few years, the organization is poised for many more years of helping to bring legal expertise and guidance to communities that need it most. I’m excited to see what the next chapter brings!”

While we’re sad to see Josh step away from his official role, we know his impact will continue to resonate across the organization for years to come.
